Frankton Mufflers and Brakes owner, Chris Robson grew up on a Waikato farm and has been fascinated with engines for as long as he can remember.  It started with motorbikes and an assortment of derby cars, leading on to trucks, diggers and tractors he fixed around the farming community.  If it has an exhaust, Chris can fix it!

“I have been a mechanic for 15 years” says Chris, “and understanding the love we Kiwis have for our cars it was soon evident that there was a demand for quality custom made exhaust systems and extractors.”  

 

Frankton Mufflers and Brakes, in Hamilton, is a family owned and operated business and has been serving the Waikato for over 10 years.  Don’t be fooled by the name, we’re not only about Mufflers and Brakes - we are here for all your automotive repairs.

constraints of family life so we endeavour to recommend the best solution and deliver the most value. 

 

We try to provide the best service available by treating every vehicle as if it were one of our own and take the time to listen to our customers.  I hear frequently concern from customers who have been told they have one issue or another, but solutions haven’t been properly explained.  Often we find a problem is much simpler to fix than they had been led to believe – that’s not to say there are too many cowboys still out there, but reflects Chris’ 15 years’ experience and ability to identify and repair most automotive problems quickly and efficiently.
